"Game of Thrones"   by Gaby ~ Just tired
House Greyjoy image for G.o.T.

What I read ~
A couple have lost everything and now are homeless. He watches as she pushes her cart, injuries that make just walking difficult that cannot be repaired for lack of insurance. He still doesn't believe it. That she had stayed, that she put up with everything he put her through.

What stood out ~
The descriptions as to how they looked really resonated with me. I could picture the dirty clothing, the dirt on her face, the cart filled with bottles and plastics. Very realistic.

Personal Impressions ~
One thing I had to wonder was if he were already dead. Is that why she was homeless? He seemed shocked that she could read his mind, and answered the questions that he asked to himself. This is what makes me believe he was already gone, yet lingered to be near her. The daily flash is a difficult story to write, but you did it, and did it well. There was so much packed into it, emotions, descriptions, backstory, everything needed to produce a full story. It was very sad, yet sweet when he took her into her arms as she slipped away. A true testament to what love is truly all about. So many times what is really important gets lost along the way, wrapped up in careers, homes, finances, etc. Wonderful story. Write on!

This would be my name.
