Plot/story elements:

Did I feel attached to the story or poem?

It was a cute piece on the importance of deciding your battles carefully. I have chihuahua mixes so I get it. But, it makes for really cute stories! I thought of some earlier disney movies like Fox and the Hound when I read this.


Would I recommend this piece of writing to someone else?

Animal lovers would get warm fuzzies from this piece, especially ones who love cats! It makes me reminiscence on all of the animals I've had that love a great adventure.


Was there a clear purpose to it?

Cats learn their lessons from chickens sometimes I bet. It was cute feel good story meant to make us smile. Who doesn't love a good natured farm animal farm story?


Glows:

The description of the angry chicken was my favorite part. It reminded me of a school yard tussle, a harmless one where no major damage happens. It's like a scene from Charlotte's Web or an innocent movie.



Grows:

I'd like some background on Rudy. What were some the antics he got into before this? Why do we know he had more curiosity than a mountain lion? I think adding a few sentences about his personality would have added greatly to my enjoyment of the story.
