Plot/story elements:

Did I feel attached to the story or poem?

I love poems about motherhood. They're among my favorite genre of poetry. I saw the visual imagery of the poem. mother strokes her baby's hair. It's an action we can all see and relate to. A great line!

Would I recommend this piece of writing to someone else?

Absolutely! It creates such a beautiful image! The beauty of this piece lies in its simplicity. It's such a common action that most of us can see the action of this poem take place. A rocking chair in a bedroom, a mother rocking its baby to sleep.

Was there a clear purpose to it?

This piece expresses the serenity and passion of a mother and her baby. I think a lot of mothers might like of the reminder of these words because sometimes its easy to forget these are the moments we need to appreciate because they certainly don't last forever.

*StarStruck* Glows:

It was a great monorhyme poem. I like the way you used punctuation for pauses in this piece. I need to get better at that in my own writing.

*Vine1* Grows:

The word prayer is the only word I got hung up on because it has two syllables. So maybe like angels answer in the midnight air, or something..

*Dialog* Miscellaneous Comments:

Great job withe this piece. It's sentimental and sweet and I can see why it was a winner.
