I found your writing beautifully written, extremely informative, very personal, critical but positive, with great quotes in every entry, with a nice layout, an authentic voice which is very distinct and a great love of Africa and Zimbabwe.

What I found the most beautiful? On winter: a beautiful lovesong on winters in Greece.

The snow lying heavily on the tree branches, turning a stark winter forest into a magical place. There were lovely winter fires with logs crackling as they burned and warmed the house. Of course after a few days there was the melted slushy snow, dirty and wet which froze overnight into sheets of ice that shone brightly as the weak warmth from the winter sun slowly melted them into water. And the icicles, huge icicles hanging off the roof, glistening with a defiantly deadly malice as they slowly melted, silently threatening anyone brave enough to want to walk underneath them.

You captured my attention in this blog never to leave again. I’m looking forward to your earlier blogs on Greece and Turkey.
