A "Game of Thrones"  House Martell Review!

First impression and image:

You have a really popular poetry contest here, and a very clear forum layout. I love the picture at the head of the forum, which fits in nicely with the title of your contest.

General impressions:

I love the idea of poetry being "Whispers of the Soul". Poetry is very personal to the poet - they choose the words, the meaning, the meter, the form, and so on.

Your prizes are very generous, but they are appropriate to the popularity of your contest. I like the fact that you give an Awardicon to all places, but I imagine everyone just has to have their eye on that exclusive MB - I know I do

Your rules are explained clearly, and they leave nothing open to interpretation. Though since your contest is now into its thirty-first round, I would have expected any kinks to have been ironed out by now.

I like that you list who will be judging the current round - it's not something many contests do. I've seen the judging pool listed on a lot of contests, just not the judge for the current round.

Favourite part:

My third place at the end of last year for "Invalid Item"  Seriously, it was one of the first times I'd placed in what I count as one of the big poetry contests here on WDC. It was even nominated for a Quill.

Closing remarks:

I plan to enter far more often this year, as one of my goals is to (somehow) win the Whispers of the Soul MB.
