A Review from "SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP

Hello, gardengirl! I am Aqua and the following are only my personal opinions. Ultimately, you and only you can decide what works best for your item.

*Castlegr* Why I chose to review this work: You have so many gems in your portfolio that I wanted to read more of your poems and while I was looking for them, this caught my attention. The title of the poem conveyed sad emotions to the reader. In this aspect, the cover photo was also very captivating and effective as it made the reader curious to know about the poem. The poem and the short description, each come of to the reader as something quite opposite and to see what the connection between the title and the short description is, I came to read it.

*Castleright* First Impression: The last poem I read, that had a sad aspect discussed in it followed by a happy, joyful and hopefulness as well. I think I have taken a like to poems like these that talk and contrasting things, like hope and regrets in your last poem and here that although she is alone, she is done with everyone's crap and wants to be free, wants herself to take control again. It's good, very inspirational! You could have just written the negative aspects but you make the reader fall to the darkness, feel the pain in your poem and then actually see a light at the end of the tunnel, it's absolutely beautiful!

*Castlegr* Imagery and Vocabulary: The flow of your poem was very good, there was no interruption and everything was smooth. The vocabulary you had used in your poem was excellent, once again, that maintained the rhyme as well as the rhythm in the poem and convey the emotions to the reader perfectly. In the first stanza, the reader could imagine herself trapped somewhere, her voice gone, her knees weak and alone but as you progressed, you made the reader stand on her own, find her voice and be strong once again.

*Castleright* Favourite Lines: The stanza I loved the most in your poem was the second one. I loved how you perfectly captured the fact that all of us say we are fine while on the inside, no one can know what destruction is going on, what has rotten and what is being damaged, one line, one lie and people accept it without looking beyond what you say, find if you actually are fine or not.

*Castle* Final Thoughts: A beautiful poem, fill of hope! Another inspirational read!
