*Castlegr* Why I chose to review this work: Among the poems I was searching to review from your portfolio and this particular poem caught my attention. The title of your poem was very interesting because it gave no hint or clue to the reader as to what the poem might be about and that is why I read the short description of your poem and felt sad. I have cats as pets too and I have lost two to three of them and I know how painful it is.

*Castleright* First Impression: Your cats are so cute, very adorable! *Heart* What really impressed me when I read you poem was the fact that you wrote it in the perspective of the pet itself, a cat. I was expecting it to be in your POV and when I read the first stanza, I was confused but then as the poem progressed, my doubts were removed and I understood that you had written it in POV of your pet which made the poem all the more beautiful.

*Castlegr* Imagery and Vocabulary: The vocabulary you have used in your poem was very effective in conveying strong emotions to the reader as she felt tears come to her eyes and bring all the old memories back of her pets that she has lost and how sad I felt then when I saw any of my kittens dead. In the end, however, to hear words of comfort from your pet had a wonderful and lasting feeling on the reader as she felt happy to know that her pet enjoyed the time he had spent with the owner and that he is in a happy place. Wonderful!

*Castleright* Favourite Lines: My favourite stanza is the fourth one, I absolutely loved it!

*Castle* Final Thoughts: A wonderful poem with sad mixed with happy emotions that made the reader say adieu to her pet. *Heart*
