This was a moving story. I like the fact that it was all dialogue. I have not made the time to try something like that. The dialogue moved the story along well. Although I felt that the story needed more description to help me see what the battle field looked like or what it smelled like. She searching for her son in the wreckage of the battle and yet did not realize she was dead too, interesting twist. I like the part where she doesn't believe that she is dead, she doesn't believe that she deserves to go to heaven, she is stubborn, angry, and hurt at the situation she has found herself in. Why didn't she want the dragon's help in finding her sons body?
Reading through this was somewhat easy because there are only two characters in the conversation. Both characters were likable. The fact that the spirit/dragon stayed peaceful even though the mother was being tormented in her own mind was refreshing.
I wonder if she will ever find peace in the after life.

This was a great story. Keep writing.
