| (4.0)| Review brought to you by: "Game of Thrones" by Gaby ~ Just tired  PLOT - Summer is an artist, but for some reason cannot get anyone to see that she has talent. Determined to make them see it, she paints at the desert until her father arrives, telling her she needs to come home and has no talent. Upon arriving home, they see they have visitors. They want to test Summer and her father tells her to go with them. SETTING - Good visual of what she was looking at as she started painting. The hovercar was described enough to get an image of it in my mind. There is a definite hook to get you to want to read on. CHARACTERS - Summer has the gift of an artist, which is rare. Her aunt has the same gift and has alerted others. When they test her, she learns that her wish has come true. Someone has finally seen that she possess the gift of art, and they intend to help her grow her gift. THOUGHTS - I don't understand why Summer being an artist is such a secret that her parents wanted it contained. I see now that they didn't want her to leave, but what all her gift entails is yet to be seen. I'm assuming that's why they keep telling her her sketches and painting are no good. You mentioned this is hopefully going to be turned into a novel. You have a great start here with this. I wish you well on your endeavor. Write on!
