I was searching something else to review from your portfolio when I saw this story. The title of your story captured my attention immediately as I wanted to know who screamed and what made her or him scream. The title had a mysterious and eerie feel to it so I wanted to know what kind of a story it was. Other than the title, the last story I read was part of a campfire as well so when I read this one was a campfire story as well, I automatically wanted to read it.

The flow of your story was smooth, there was no interruption, no questions that arose in the reader's mind while reading it. You wrote the story in a very good manner that made the reader feel part of it, I felt as if I was sitting among the other people one one of the wooden logs, listening to the woman's story as I hear creepy, sudden creaks around me or a bird's sound that set me off. The mood and the tone in your story is strong, I can feel the shudder along with the other campers while she narrates an event that happened with her.

Although some people might not call it horror, I know how scary it can be to actually experience something like this in real life. A good story you have here! There were no errors that I found in your story.
