What a beautiful poem you have here! I was searching for something to review for WDC Game of Thrones when I remembered your portfolio and I wanted to stop by once again and read more of the wonderful poems you have written in your portfolio. The title of your poem was very touching and intriguing, it made the reader intrigued to know what kind of a poem is about 'hands' and whose hands is the poet referring to in the poem. Besides the title of your poem, the short description was very deep and I knew I had to read more about your poem. It reminded me of the poems I read before in your portfolio and how they referred to wounds, words and hope.

The beginning of your poem was very beautiful and it immediately captured the reader's attention as you mentioned how your soul was comforted on the roughest of days by a single, soft touch. It made the reader close her eyes and imagine for a second how I might be sitting somewhere, isolated, drowned in my own sorrows and when my mother touches me, caresses me, it all seems to go away and things start looking better for me. In your case, it's your husband but the feeling, the emotions brought in the reader are the same. The flow of your poem was perfect, there was no interruption and it flew smoothly when I read it out loud. My favourite stanza was the fourth and the last ones, they were very touching, and beautiful! The way you worded it was very unique.
