Hi Cinn , A "Game of Thrones" House Martell Review! HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews" A Review from "Simply Positive Review Forum " ! Title and cover image: I've always felt that trees have their own personalities and so was drawn to your poem. You can see all sorts of faces in trees and image stories about them, you can feel the sorrow of weeping willows, the new buds in spring, and the colour changes in autumn. Your cover is a lovely image. It serves to both set the scene of your poem and is a really pretty image to refer to whilst reading. Form: Your poem is written in three stanzas of free verse, which nicely mirrors the freedom found in nature. I love the heavy s-sounding consonance throughout your poem, and you have nice use of enjambment. General impressions: You have captured a lovely winter scene in your poem. The images you conjure up are unusual, but they are very clever. I love the image of children looking out on the wintery scene the first stanza. Winter is a time of wonder and magic, but especially in the eyes of children. It is easy to see the lace doilies of your poem, but the hobo's bindle is a really out there idea Overall, your poem reminds of winters when I was younger. Back when I was a child we used to get three or four weeks of snow very year, but we don't get a lot of snow anymore in the south England. Closing remarks: I've really enjoyed reading your poetry and will be back at some point to review some more. Thank you for sharing your work with us! Write On!
