Hello, OOT™ ! I am Aqua and the following are only my personal opinions. Ultimately, you and only you can decide what works best for your item.


I was searching for something to review in your 30 Day Image Contest folder when this caught my attention and I wanted to know more about this bumbling detective. There was another reason why I chose to read and review this work. It was because of the crime and the detective genre in it, I really like reading both these genres and when I saw you had it in your story here, I knew I had to come and take a peek. The short description of your work was interesting as I wondered if you were talking about the corrupt cops, corrupt and bad detectives and their rules. Lots of questions rose in my mind and that is why I am here.

The beginning of your work was very interesting. Your first day at a job, and detective too, with a partner you find hard to get along. . . . Just great! *Laugh* It was pure bad luck for Linda but the reader was intrigued to see what happened later in the story and if she and he would learn to get along and get some cases done as partners. The story you had here was quite unexpected and I was amazed and all I could say was 'unbelievable.' But then again, if you tell something like that to a newbie, he follows it and I can't help but wonder what happened after with Linda *Facepalm*. The flow of your story was good, there was no interruption and the characters you had were very good, believable and seemed realistic to the reader. The plot you had here was interesting but with a sad and tragic ending.
