What a beautiful poem you have here! The image prompt you were given with the theme 'cheers' or 'celebration' could have been used in so many different ways like a birthday, anniversary, wedding, new year, christmas, dance, ball, auction, formal dinner etc but the way you have written the poem and responded to the prompt was very sweet and touching. The title of your work was good, it got my attention and the reader wanted to know what kind of a cheer you had written. The short description and the title gave the reader the exact idea of what to expect in the poem and guess what it might be about. It was a very cute and touching idea to write a tribute to your boyfriend and how he changed your life. I love reading such real life poems and like all others, I really loved this one too.

The flow of your poem was very good, it was smooth and there was no interruption. It flew out very well when I read it, the rhythm was present and it enhanced the poem you have here. The vocabulary you had here was although simple but at the same time it was very powerful and strong as well as effective in conveying the emotions to the reader, making her feel warm, fuzzy and nice reading how much you love your boyfriend. The way you mentioned how with a single glance he tore down your walls that you had built so high and then his contagious smile was perfect! I really loved these lines :

your mesmerizing eyes
bore into my soul
destroying my
impenetrable barriers
with just one look
