A Review from "SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP

Hello, Sanita ! I am Aqua and the following are only my personal opinions. Ultimately, you and only you can decide what works best for your item.

I was searching something to review from your portfolio for the WDC Game of Thrones when I saw this listed as the first item in your portfolio and immediately wanted to read what you had written here. I like reading veteran and tribute poems and I, myself, have written two of veteran poems, dedicating it to the people who are martyred in the battle for protecting their people, their love, their country. The title of your work made me very curious because I could relate to it, even though we don't recall veterans every other day but whenever we do, the first thing that comes to our mind is 'sacrifice' and 'honor' and we thank them secretly, in our own minds directly or indirectly, for having the courage to do what they did.

The poem you have here was very emotional and touching, Sanita. I could feel tears stinging my eyes by the time I had reached the last stanza of your poem. Although I had expected it to be this way, what I didn't expect was the use of such a young child, of eighteen years, throughout the poem. It made the poem all the more full of melancholy as the reader wondered about the parents, how they never got the chance to go to highschool, college and find a love, spend more time with parents. It also pained me to think that these children were taken at such an early age from their parents, I cannot begin to imagine how they must feel. The flow of your poem was beautiful, there was no interruption and it flew smoothly when I Read it out loud. The vocabulary you had used in your poem was simple but very powerful, strong and effective in conveying deep emotions to the reader, grabbing her attention. Although I loved the entire poem, the stanza I really liked was the second and the last ones, they were simply beautiful and emotional. *Heart* May all the veterans and martyrs go to heaven and peace be with their families. *Peace*
