Hello, Sanita ! I am Aqua and the following are only my personal opinions. Ultimately, you and only you can decide what works best for your item.


While I was searching for something to review from your portfolio, this particular poem caught my attention because in the world we live in, every one is judgmental and instead of seeing the person as the soul, the heart they have, we judge them on the basis of their colour, their religion, their clothing, their eating habits, their voice etc. The title made me recall Martin Luther King's speech "I have a Dream" that I read in my English book previous year. I found his speech very inspiring and I felt as if the concept, his speech, needed to run again in programs and tvs so that people realise what true beauty is and how we should judge a person. Immediately, after reading the title of your work, I got the idea what the poem may be about but I wanted to know more about how you had written it and here I am!

Congratulations on winning first place in the contest, it was a well deserved win, Sanita! Although your poem is short but the message in it is very powerful and just like the one the reader had guessed. You make the reader think about the way she judges and criticizes people and your poem makes the reader want to spread the same message and changer her ways as well as make others change through kindness. Well done! The flow of your poem was beautiful, there was no interruption and the vocabulary you had used was simple which was good enough to get the idea through to the reader. I loved the entire poem! I have no suggestions for your work.
