What a fun, entertaining poem you have here, Patrice! I was searching for something to review from your portfolio when this particular poem caught my attention and I immediately wanted to read it. The main reason why the title captivated me and made me open and read this poem was because I love cats and have three adorable ones myself. I don't let away any opportunity of reading a cat or animal story or poem on WDC and when I saw this, I knew I had to come and take a peek.

The title and the short description of your poem was very intriguing as it made the reader curious to know what the title means and how it is related with the poem itself. I haven't read any poem similar to this before so it interested me because I could no make out any meaning from the title itself. The poem you have here was very amusing and fascinating and I loved when you said that your cat loves you only and no one else. All the things you mentioned about cats being lazy, sleeping, jumping off, their hair literally on everything you touch - was spot on! For someone who knows cats and keeps them, they could perfectly relate to your poem and laugh as I read on. The flow of your poem was good, there was no interruption and the vocabulary you had used in your poem was simple but interesting which grabbed the reader's attention. Well done!
