 Welcome to WDC Genipher! I am happy to do a review to celebrate you!   I had to smile at the title and it relates well to the theme. The poem is delightful with a simple rhyme and rhythm that reminds me of children's rhymes. Kids would enjoy this bit of fun as well as me! The images of the ants and how the poet would respond if they disappeared is vivid. The use of logic to counter getting an anteater was brilliant concept. The active verbs like "creep", "squish" and "chomp" add drama and reality to the scene. I loved the idea of "flicking" them.  It was fun to read and imagine! The wonderful rhyme is consistent and adds to the flow and pace! The rhythm count is irregular but it did not detract from the pleasant read! You really captured what a nuisance it is to have ants in the house. I've had them!  Thanks for sharing your vision in an entertaining way.
