It has been a pleasure to read and review your work, please remember any thoughts or suggestions written or implied in my review are based only on my opinion. Thank you for entering and Good Luck! [Spelling Errors/Grammar] I came across a few odd sentences throughout the story. I think if you were to read it aloud you would find them easy.  [Ending Thoughts] Well, I did enjoy this story to a point. I thought the characters were intriguing, yet felt this was just the beginning of a story that was to tell so much more. I thought the image prompt was used properly, and the descriptions within the story were great. When I made it to the end I had more questions than answers. I fill this could be more than just a short for the contest. I would like to read more if you decide to add more.
