First Impressions: "Invalid Item"  is one of those poems that bring back to many who read it the last (and hopefully final) time that they've experienced a broken heart. We've faintly recalled such a time in our world, as does the person in this poem, where another meant so much to them, meant the world to them, meant all things...........to them..........



Overall Impact: Poetry of hurt is never a fun place to begin with. We take to heart the fact that love always brings with it a risk.....



Errors: No mistakes found...



Summation: Sometimes, when a person's love is not sought after any more, when it is no longer required, there comes a time when such a loss is a shock, a complete feeling of abandonment.

Such times are the things that life throws at us periodically; its whether one can get back up, continue to walk down the path called Life...and love once more is what makes all the difference...
