Wow! I was passing by and saw the theme for your etheree and was curious! What a unique topic for this difficult form! yet it fits as I think chess is challenging and you have to have stragtegy to plan this format! *Thumbsup*

Thanks for your author's note just to remind about the form. It is so convenient and helpful. *Wink*

*Delight* Brilliant moves! I like how you got all the chess pieces mentioned and a little of the hierarchy. The last line is cool as it feels like one plays the game! I enjoyed the bits of inner rhyme sounds near the end that added to the flow and pace.

I counted all the syllables and you are right on. I see the matching double lines of rhyme in the 2 two {me,see} and second last two lines: {knight,right}. Nice play. The reverse line of "learning I am" is interesting effect.

The message is clear that you like chess and are still learning. You also show a little strategy that you might use and the intent of the game is good vs bad! Well conceived.
