First Impressions:"Invalid Item"  is a wonderfully short writing that describes a paradox - a paradox of love that a writer, for years and counting, cannot escape.

He is in love, terribly in love, with someone in his heart and mind whom he never had the hope of being to pursue.

His writings might someday open the gates to her world...



Overall Impact: Again and again, the papers are written, the words imparted, the papers then torn up, balled together and thrown out the windows.

Forlornly, the writer is nearly giving up, until.....something quite strange happens...



Errors: There are plenty of grammar errors here that otherwise do little to add any spoilage to this story. It would do GREAT BENEFIT to sharpen up on spelling and grammar, granted, but it is not getting in the way of this work indeed.



Summation: This story caught my own life in a time whereby, with no one to call my own and feeling incredibly lonely, I discovered that I could write once again...and when I added the fact that attending church with a group of people who truly cared for me...it was indeed a better world at that time. However, the woman who eluded my writing was someone that I found I could never write something worthwhile for; my poetry would someday find their ways into the lives and hearts of many other people, and perhaps I can still dream though, dream that no matter how many crumpled up balls of paper I threw away, I guess my heart was in the right place - I just needed to find the right lady who would appreciate my writing as it were.

Indeed, writing is the bridge to the hearts of those who are willing to open their side of the bridge for more words that unlock so many feelings about their world...
