Greetings, Mary

This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC!

First Impressions:"My Hard Drive Is Full is one of those cool, interesting poems that - waterfalls like - cascade down upon us all, those of us who have been wading deep into pools filled with the realities of computers...and the technology that overwhelms us in order to fathom the depths of their components...

Overall Impact: A neat write up to say the least, that finds us all considering just how in the world will the average joe or jill keep up with technologies' leaps and bounds, for within us there is a limit in which we can take after all.

At least, that is the main thrust of this writing itself!!

Errors: No mistakes found here in this writing.

Summation: Indeed, some people have declared a personal sit down strike with the kinds of contraptions that inventors constantly throw in our direction: in addition to needing to LEARN more techno-speak and know-how, there are HUGE COST OVERRUNS in OBTAINING these same gadgets that honestly, sometimes do NOT work as well as the ones we have used for years. Or months perhaps. This is a poem that speaks out for our peace of mind, our willingness to no longer abide by needing to have the closest thing to perfection as described to us by our colleagues in the know.

We can do with what we have for the next number of decades. The old typwriters that lasted DECADES comes to mind. Why not have phones that always worked for us remain here....and not the rotary phones mind you, the cell phones that do not need to TRACK US, do not need to EAVESDROP on our conversations in our bedroom or in our car while taking a drive OR be left on Speaker so that others in whatever room can also, for their enjoyment, find out that SOME PEOPLE also know about this "feature" and have planned accordingly. Not that I myself dont care one whit. Why should I? When others prove that technology can be used in an abusive, distrustful manner, they already show the world the kinds of lowlifes they are. Monica Lewinsky, eat your heart out, when your friend Linda Whateveryournamewas recorded your phone messages/conversations with her, naturally there was a lot of disgust to go along with it. Today, no worries, with guys like Eric Snowden, the disgust is UNIVERSAL. Let us not get riled up over tiny bits of idiot plottings when the Federal Government has got your every single breath and gigabyte on record. And yes, this author is totally correct. WE CAN CHOOSE to no longer be a part of this, and choose to gently go out into that good evening, and live our lives unencumbered from here on out. I think living the life of a hermit would be GREAT in retrospect. Ever get sick of idiot people who think that accumulating enough gold and diamonds will insure that heaven awaits?

THANKS for this awesome poem! You hit the nail on the head. I feel that with a little more polishing, this could become the battle cry for millions of others who feel EXACTLY as you do. I know I do!!! KEEP WRITING!!!!!!!!!
