*BalloonR* Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon! *BalloonR*

What brought the Hand of THiNG to your port?

*Ghost*I am the judge for today in "The Writer's Cramp. Thanks for entering and welcome to the site! *Hand2*

What Does THiNG think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* I think that this is a situation where a parent has to think of what is best for their child and put those needs in front of everything else. I have much more sympathy for Rachel and what she feels she must do, than for the other power hungry medical so and sos and the politicians. I actually think that medical bullies are much worse than politicians because they usually answer to no one and can do much more damage in the long run.

What does THiNG applaud about while reading your item?

This part was particularly moving: "They looked into each other's eyes; a thousand unspoken pains of a lost future were shared between them."

Thank you, also, for having the prompt at the end as per the instructions. It fit very well and seemed to be a natural ending to the story.

Well done!

I am not an expert on poetry or prose. I am merely a reader who loves to read and today's judge in The Writer's Cramp. I am not a proofreader and would rather do most anything else rather than proof read. That is what proofreaders get paid to do. I share my experiences when I read and try not to blabber on too much. I enjoyed visiting with you!
