Greetings, JOHN

This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC!

First Impressions: " Despicable Rake Of Sun Valley Acres is a very brief, yet quick attempt at finding humor in a ultra-brief story.

Honestly, I think this work must have been written with great speed, for the work itself, apparently based upon the main character's great desire to peer into some portion of a house that he is either a resident of or simply visiting with...meets up with an obvious accident while attempting to ascend/descend a latter.

Unfortuately, the grammar & spelling miscues took away from the story greatly, and even now, having re-read this work through for the third time, I am still trying to connect-the-dots as far as discerning exactly what was the main character's interest all along? What "telecast" was it that he sought after so much?

Overall Impact: We get that the falling on an ample posterior is a kind of laugh-getter in many instances: in fact, during those days of Buster Keaton, the Keystone Kops, Laurel & Hardy et al, it was a surefire way to capture mirth from the audience when one found oneself watching a hapless "victim" fall square on their posterior.

We get it.

Errors: Too many to list here: one clear spelling error is the spelling of "latter" which, with a quick consult with Spell Check here on WDC, would reveal "ladder" as the way to go....

Summation: A son-in-law who loves a father's daughter is a kind of self-explanatory process that really doesn't need...well...further explaining.

I clearly missed the "show" here, and wonder if somehow what the son-in-law sought after was Monday Night Football after all?

I certainly hope so.

Once again, thank you for providing me the opportunity to read and review for Simply Positive; this also has been written in affiliation with
