 | The Animals' First Band  [E] I wrote something like this when I was a kid. Based on episode Buster and the Wolverine.  |

First Impressions: "The Animals' First Band" is an amazing story, written by a six year old child, whom writes a story a la The Big Bad Wolf, yes, but puts this awesome, original spin onto it!!Really enjoyed this writing, what with a creative flair one does not discover in the writings of those only little more than 2,190 days old since birth!! I do declare!! Overall Impact: This story has insight in ways that I thought were unique: how creatures - musically inclined no less - find ways to escape, overwhelm and ultimately overcome a predator that historically always ended up on the maligned side of history throughout the world. Indeed, this does not matter here, for we aren't talking about the plight of wolves throughout the planet nor the fact that they never killed humans before. No. This is a story that has insight AND impact when we consider that a young child can conceptualize striking ways to defeat a stronger power though use of her writing skills, empowering lesser creatures who otherwise would have little chance against a "cunning" and "crafty" and "evil" force of nature. Indeed. My only wish along these lines is that parents and media both would cease creating myths about such noble creatures such as wolves being a threat to you guessed it - human children!! - imagine that?!? - - - myths that not only do kids believe in through the years but go on to propagate such stories years later for their children. Thank God that this story involves no such unfair storytelling, and is a huge blessing in this very way!! Errors: I did spot one mistake in this work, but my work is done here. Summation: For a six year old child, I found myself impressed to the core of my being to see such talents within the realm of a youth who knew how to use her powers of creativity in seeking out how best to tell a story that can keep people both young and old alike captivated to the hilt of their minds....and in doing so....offers to us the hope that she is now writing even more imaginative works, works that this reviewer has yet to see....
