First Impressions: "Invalid Item"  is a funny, descriptive, perceptive piece of short story writing that captures the funny side of songwriting, the realities of trying to make a living doing just that.



Overall Impact: A highly enjoyable piece, one that I found to be filled with the very accurate portrayal of songwriter's daily life. A very humorous side story that made me laugh knowingly too, at what others have endured in this kind of life, a kind of "feast or famine" world that oftentimes present themselves within the struggles that few people can honestly say they know of...much less understand...



Errors: I think the title might read, "A Bridge Too Far" - like in the movies?



Summation: A funny, fast-paced story written for a daily writing contest here on WDC.
