Greetings, Sewcrazy Again 🤗

This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC!

First Impressions: "The Sew~ N ~Sew Club is a fine piece of writing, a heartfelt story about this writer's life as someone who devoted her life to sewing: granted, most men such as myself simply do not know anything whatsoever about this kind of thing - aside from darning socks and sewing on buttons, we menfolk simply come up all thumbs at this endeavor!!

But I know pride in work done by hand, work done by heart, work done with a muse and soul!

Overall Impact: America once held its seamstresses up to highest light, in highest regard. In those post-Colonial days, when the Industrial Revolution was in full swing, the perspective of clothing made by manufactories took over the one thing that many women took pride in most - their abilities to actually create clothing for their families - wonderful clothing that lasted generations!

I must say, the longest I ever was able to wear a piece of clothing was nigh for 20 years: a shirt my brother bought me for my 19th birthday, an Abraham & Strauss shirt, remained on my chest for two DECADES, and I'll never see another shirt like it again!

If only I could thank the person who created that shirt!!

THIS is what I mean by PRIDE in creating the clothing that the families used to wear, clothing that was distinctive and filled with pride, indicative of their culture and their neighborhoods...

If only we could get those days back, once again...

Errors: I didn't see but one obvious error in this writing. It was a wonderful story!!

Summation: I love stories about people that craft things with hands and heart. I myself love to carve wood, and not just any kinds of objects. I love to carve woodenware, spoons and bowls for the table, and when I am done with such things, there is a pride in doing so that never fails to reward with the thinking that someone is truly happy with my efforts!

Thank you for writing this story!

And as always, KEEP ON WRITING!!!!!!!!!!! *Smile*

Once again, thank you for providing me the opportunity to read and review for Simply Positive; this also has been written in affiliation with
