Nice job. Excellent mitre, not a single clumsy moment in the whole poem.

I particularly like the second stanza and it's sentiment that the story lives in us beyond the last page.

My favourite couplet is the last one of the first verse, "and left for dust motes to attend -- While heroes lie in mute repose." Superb imagery.

My only complaint, like all my favourite stories, it had to end ... I want more!
