First Impressions: "Dandelion Clocks is one of those poems that remind of Constructive Poetry, whereby the poem itself literally depicts or portrays something of worthy note. Not always does this connect with the reader, and indeed, no matter, for the poem itself held numerous "gems" of wisdom that we so find with the dandelion itself.

I make mention too that this noxious weed, as we were taught to think of it in the past decades, is actually a live-giver: it has high vitamin C content, it is a salve for the liver, and so many other things such as directly able to provide greens for a salad on one's table.

The dente de lion of our youth, as we so innocently blew upon the seedlings and set them free, become this monstrosity that our fathers and their fathers told us must be true.

Overall Impact: How sad is this conventionality, this myth we were exposed to soon after our years of youth were expended. Indeed, I was told at all times and all costs to pull those weeds with my hands...and never once think twice about using poison upon them.

Did my ancestors ever get this wrong!

This poem is PROOF abiding that our worlds are what we are taught to believe, hold dear, never question and ultimately....exterminate from our existence. For what they say must be true.

This poem has enormous impact for it is a direct incantation of being innocent, in all ways possible in the world's mind, for the setting sun that illuminates the seedlings themselves represent, to this reviewer, the possibilities of Life hereafter.

Like the child the holds aloft the promise kept of generations future, this poem is a kind of ode to what is hoped for, Life eternal.

Errors: No mistakes found in this masterful poem.

Summation: A very thoughtful, introspective poem using the action of freed seedlings to send our imaginations to higher, more lofty places. It is a poem bent upon this very act of enlightenment, this very act of being being alive, of sending innocence along with our muse to a better place.

Hope truly does spring eternal, for in this very place, we find our highest sense of trust, our highest sense of self.

Great poem!!

As always KEEP WRITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Smile*
