Greetings, ~Minja~

This is your local Simply Positive Reviewer, here! Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC!

First Impressions: "Invalid Item is truly a small place, built around a campfire of empathy, a place of the heart whereby others who (chosen to be a part of this group) pour their heart out in poetry, honoring those who have moved onwards. I can say that each poem I read here offered yet that much more lovingkindness to a person's memories that they've left for others to discover.

As the author confidently says, we all will sooner or later feel grief - when that time arrives.

A beautiful place for those whom have lost a beautiful person (or persons) and wish to bestow lovingkindness at the door of this wonderful place of remembrance.

Overall Impact: I can empathize clearly with this very process: a sense of release is obtained after reading each and every poem within this work. I commend it highly, for there is a certain therapeutic environment that comes from being a part of ANY grief support group. For some, I am sure this is the ONLY Group available to them. If so, it could very well be a LIFELINE for them.

One can never underestimate the power that losing loved ones can have upon those left behind.

One example was the time of my 50th birthday, and as it approached, honest to God, I felt this strange guilt.

Why?

True to form, after undergoing therapy, we discovered I was suffering from a form of Survivor's Guilt, the guilt one feels when loved ones have long since left this world, leaving you to fend for yourself.

I am glad that I got through that wickedly difficult period of time in my Life. I of course know the full value of therapy and hope that those who listen to how much it helped me, might THEN discover that a website like this authors - a "Page" if you will, can offer every bit as much support as any other thing.

Errors: No errors detected here in this beautiful work!

Summation: A wonderful campfire, a campfire whose writing flames shall never go out....a perfect place to sit and frame words in ways so that others can experience a release from the huge weight of grief that only grows upon one's shoulders unless that person finds a release for it.

I can think of many others that would join in this campfire, and look forward to the day when an invitation might be extended to them.

All the best,

Papa Doc #1
