Your writing has been selected for review, as part of Simply Positive's mission to bring more light on Authors here at WDC! First Impressions: "A hole in Time" is quite a poem! It required some rather intensive study so to speak - actually, one had to re-familiarize oneself with words like torpor, fain and perhaps others if it crossed my mind? Altogether, Life was good while reading this one, for it certainly brought back SOOOO many memories!! Overall Impact: The impact of this poem was as sort of an Adjutant to Time: we see this couple - friends, acquaintances, lovers all - who spoke of those things that frequently cross the paths of those freshly starting out in Life: very small amounts of money at times certainly imited one's vision for a greater future, but then again, when one lives a simply Life, isn't money usually the LEAST of our concerns?! Errors: Yes - one goof spotted here: "We yawned pletoricly" --------------- I think what the author meant to say is....." We yawned plethorically" Summation: We seek greater meaning within this work: it was clear to this reviewer that despite its brevity, despite is shortened sentences, despite everything ppointing towards a breeze-through of a read, we found ourselves surprised at the depth in which this poem takes us! I enjoyed the basic foundation from which this poem takes shape; using such details such as Time, words such as aging and so forth. Most impactful lines: " left God, Marx and Freud us subtly with Einstein and damn, that one died too." KEEP WRITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
