Hello,

I was just thinking about how it's been awhile since I did any reviews for you, and then I noticed this come across my home page so I thought I would read it and leave you with a quick little review here

I thought this was a really strong piece. It was short, but you really made every word count and that makes for an incredible read. I particularly liked the following stanza:

Whisper my name
Torture my mind
Blank stare
Behind empty eyes

The one thing that didn't work for me about this (and this is one of those instances where this is 100% personal preference - not objective criticism) was the title. Part of it is that when I see "The Room" I automatically think of the movie (which hopefully not a lot of other people are going to do) but just generally I feel like there might have been a better title for this. There's nothing exactly wrong with it, but I don't feel like the title accurately reflects how gripping each and every word of the poem itself was.

Aside from that small thing, I didn't find anything wrong with this. You know I love reading your poetry and would be happy to leave you more reviews at any time.
