I found your poem on the Random Read click.

I loved the mellow, philosophical words woven within each line. It is something that captures a reader's attention. I actually read it a few times in an audible whisper, because that's when one knows the rhythm is sweet and sounds lovely to the ears.

Observations:

Since there was an author's note, and I am not a form-poetry person, but I really appreciate an author describing the form of the poem I just read, I have to comment on a couple places.

"a memory of the past,
Memories carried with you"

These are both 7 syllable lines, due to the fact that memory and memories are three syllable words.

In your note, you say the lines, other than the repeat line are all six syllables. Well, catching these two sneaking in as six when they are seven, gave me pause.

The poem itself was a beautiful read, and had you not given me the form of the poem's description, I would not have hesitated one bit.
