What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* Your portrayal of the Thanksgiving adventures of a normal (normal to me anyway) family is well written. I like that there is none of the forced happy stuff. It is real and it is an ordeal. It is why the big stores saw an opportunity in opening up on the big family day. When there is a big family gathering, there is the primal urge to escape if it one's life is not perfection. And, really, whose life is?

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

I like that your narrator brother chooses to help his sister with a nice attitude. After taking sibling abuse for a while at the gathering, his attitude might not be this charitable. In these sorts of family dynamics there are those who usually lean on the others and then the others who really care for each other, but are leery from past experiences.

It is why I choose not to do the big gathering together thing anymore. *Shudder*
