*Smile*The title caught my attention and made me curious!
*Quill* Your rhyming couplets rock and I had fun reading aloud. Your vision of the the Poet is vivid and I can imagine him not wanting to be in the spotlight and giving credence to the muse.

*Quill* The rhyme scheme was effective even with a few off rhymes. They did not detract from the message and flow. liked the notion of "nights dreamed in verse" and "cousin of lies" Wow! It speaks volumes.

*Star*The tone is potent and the last couplet is evocative to ponder. Strong ending.
