First Impressions: "Love of the Gods"  is a interesting poem, a poem that gives credence to the Higher Power for creating opposing genders, and especially the beautiful, mysterious, incredibly powerful female gender. I should know. I have chased, been chased, hid from, been given the go-around, called on the phone, sent love letters to, received Valentines from in such huge quantities that I find myself taking on the mantle of "Expert" in such matters.

But don't take my word for it. After all, there are plenty of fish in the ocean!

Overall Impact: This poem is also about mankind's love of the gods above, their mysterious, powerful ways as well. I found myself pausing frequently between stanzas of rhyme with this work, seeking out deeper, more metaphorical meaning with each passing line. The author simply does not disappoint!



Errors: No errors seen in this neat poem!



Summation: I was clearly impressed with the depth, breadth and spiritual width of this work: to me, love can be either eros, filial or some high spiritual love that many need define for themselves.

What I liked about this work is that there was plenty left to the interpretation of its deeper - and more shallow - meanings. I enjoy superlative poetry like this, for along the way, I am reminded of how blessed I am when it comes to things like this!
