What I Like:
I thought you did a great job with the Shakespearean Sonnet form. The rhyme, meter, and structure are spot-on, as is the verbage you use.


What May Need Work:
This is really a trivial thing and just my thoughts in the context of the contest prompt of 'unexpected love'. Your poem centers around the thoughts and feelings exchanged between a bride and her parents on her wedding day and I'm not sure that fits the contest prompt.

Other than that, I saw no other issues, mechanical or otherwise.
