Hi Tammy. I saw your name highlighted in the anniversary forum and stopped by to leave a review. HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews" Overall Impression After reading the comments in your portfolio, I'm a bit confused. You don't like critique at all? I'll be careful with my comments. A few thoughts Poems do not have to be structured, although I am more familiar with that style. In places, the poem rhymed, sometimes in different structures. Carefully, I'm saying, the read is a little choppy. However, this can be overlooked because the words convey a strong message, expressed in a unique way. I'm no poet, but I definitely have the same outlook as shown in this work. What are humans doing? Destroying their own habitat as if the ultimate destruction is a myth? Or maybe some people don't care because they won't live to see the earth die. Many humans are trying to think of ways to slow down the devastation. I have to wonder if, at this point, anything will make a difference. But we should never stop trying. Not to censure people with loads of money, but sometimes I think, do they have a secret hide-away? Another planet only a select few know of? Is this their escape plan? Money buys everything, right? I'm being sardonic, or flippant, whichever adjective fits best. Mostly, I'm playing a silly mind game with myself to stave off the desperation. I'll confess to using a dictionary because I didn't understand the usage of the word redundant. I've always thought in terms of unnecessary, or overabundant, or repetitive, which made no sense. One synonym is useless. Lasting Impression Honoring the comment in your portfolio, I'll simply claim ignorance on my part for not grasping the deployment of the word redundant. From what I understand, poetry pushes the limits of word meanings. Perhaps that was your intention. With a vivid imagination such as yours, readers can be transported anywhere. Even to the edge of doom. Sadly, I agree with the message expressed here. I appreciate the opportunity to reflect on your unique style of communication. Well done! My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
