Episode seven – the blank

Ch-12 – idle thoughts
Brock is curious about Gillian's discovery of a female killer.

This was an easy-to-read summary of Brocks positive thoughts about his time in Boston.
Visiting his daughter.
Working with Coleman.
The comfortable, convenient apartment.
Coleman wanted to stay longer.

Then the negative thought that seems to overlay all his being...
Don't get attached. I guess that's fear.

He headed back to HQ, and I believe he hoping to stay in Boston (deep down and not admitted.)

The chapter is well-written. I found no faults in it. For his brilliance, I find Brock very a very sad character.
