Overall: I've enjoyed reading another gator tale of yours and now I'm back for more! I'm glad to say, you did not disappoint.


Praise: You've got a fun and upbeat narrating style which makes your stories very engaging. Your ideas are cool (thanks to the awesome job you've got!) and you've got quite a sense of humour to boot.


Comments: In an earlier review, I mentioned that you took a little long to get to the "story proper". Well, it looks like you've got the same problem here. You dedicated 6 whole paragraphs to giving us a backstory on your career before getting to the true star of the story -- the gator on the road! LOL.

Though those 6 paragraphs were interesting and amusing, in and of themselves, they had no bearing on the climax of your tale, and therefore, should have no place in your story. [Hint: Ordinarily, just a one- or two-paragraph long introduction will do.]


Suggestions: If you're serious about writing (perhaps you'd like to get published one day), then it would be a good idea to learn how to organise and structure your stories. But if you're just doing this to share some laughs, then, no problem! (Though you may not be "hooking" as many readers as you should.)


Conclusion: An entertaining and educational read on alligators! Anyone who's interested in learning about working with these reptiles should read Lesley Scott's gator tales.
