I am also reviewing your item because it popped-up on the Random Review, click. I really like the philosophical thought process woven into this prose about being a survivor. We have all had to deal with tough times in life where it was difficult to know where to turn. The strong keep working through it, but also, some who are very strong may also be the last to ask anyone for help or guidance during those times. I like how your prose shows true strength and also lets the reader know that it is not always an easy course to follow. It reminds us that we should never give up, because life is that precious ... each and every life. Observations: There is a bit of perspective change going on starting off with third person point of view and then going on to second person point of view. Suggestion: May I suggest that this prose could have more impact if written entirely in the second person point of view? It will show the reader that we are all in this together. It becomes more personal to those who read it, and makes them feel included in this fine philosophy of survival. And, where suicide is even a slight passing thought on someone's mind, knowing that another person has come close to the edge and made the choice to not just survive, but, to fight and thrive. It is a positive message that will be much appreciated. Thus: "How does each person survive the difficult hardships in their life?" Could be: How do we survive life's difficult hardships? Now you've got the readers' attention! I had to change the content rating on this item to 13+ due to the word "suicide." Well done and fine philosophy! Until next time--write on!
