The view is well expressed in this essay. but there is another angle to this argument.The two battles mentioned here are too technical. The common resident of the country does not think so deeply, but change it affects him personally.The America is divided , culturally as well as politically. political division is expressed here. but the argument is not complete to the core of the society. I believe there are lot of unsaid matters involved here. It's difficult to solve many problems by selecting one side over other.
