PLOT -
Vlad is bored with the women he's encountered and is on the hunt again. Tonight, meeting Almira, he gets more than he bargained for.

SETTING -
Great descriptions of Almira and all that Vlad has been feeling. It was easy to follow along and get engrossed in your characters and all that was happening.

CHARACTERS -
Almira is a strong woman, not pretty or skinny, and she doesn't put up with much. I loved her snubbing Vlad and leaving him shocked. Vlad couldn't let Almira get away. When he follows her to get his fill for the night, he finds out just how strong and capable the woman is.

GRAMMAR/SPELLING/DIALOGUE -
The dialogue was natural. No spelling issues.

THOUGHTS -
Interesting take on vampires and how time has changed women in general. I found myself laughing at the reference to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Good job pulling your audience into the story. Good luck in the contest. You managed to make Vlad into a likable character.

Lost in a haze of purple she stands alone
