I totally understand "tired." Reading through this poem, reminded me of a time I had to do so many things involved with moving that I became what I consider to be one of the living dead.

A loved one needed shoulder surgery and we were getting ready to pack-up and head South for the winter. Our trip was delayed because of the surgery, and the weather in New England in late November, is not pleasant. Of course the furnace decided to quite at that point. Thank God for fireplaces!

However, I digress, the fact is with him having only "one good arm" I did most of the packing and lugging for a couple weeks, until we could escape.

I love the extended descriptions of feeling weary to the core that you shared within your lines. I actually felt very tired when I reached the end. Gee, thanks for that.

Observations:

Feeble, fragile and flimsy Loved the alliteration here!

Out of shape, out of gas, done in and feeble
However, "feeble" is repeated to closely together with the line above. Since your poem has listed the exhausted feelings of mind body and spirit, I think one more alternate word could have been used here.

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this poem, and could identify with such feelings -- not too often, but do understand it.

I did have to change the content rating on this item due to the use of the word "damn." No cursing or slang words can be in "E" rating.
