This is a good story. It is written with imagination and thought. The story introduces us to the lives of lions and their relationships with their family. Simba is gentle and still fearsome. He creates awe in us as he plays havoc with elephants. Her mother's punishment seems natural as she tries to discipline her cub. Perhaps, this is how lion mothers punish their cubs. Simba is terrified by his mother's punishment but it might make him think again about being arrogant. The story makes us aware of the animal world and how animal's operate with each other.
