Title: Tobias the Torturer

First Impression: The quote from McBeth at the beginning of this story hooked me. The first paragraph does a good job of introducing Tobias, while revealing his personality and profession.

What needs your attention: A typo in this phrase, it's s but a path, I suggest deleting the s because it is unnecessary. The only other issue I had with this character description was the lack of a physical description of Tobias. Was he ugly? Was he good looking? Was he just a normal looking man, similar to any common human being you would meet on the street?

What part I liked best: I like the description of Tobias because it revealed him to be a unsympathetic, but intriguing and thoroughly despicable character.

Overall impression: This chapter does a good job of suggesting the stories plot while introducing the main character. I enjoyed reading this intriguing character description, even though it did not tell me anything about Tobias's physical description. I am looking forward to reading more about this character and the others mentioned in this character description. Write on.
