Title: Within

First Impression: The first paragraph hooked me with something crawling up the speaker's back and melting into her. This is a story about mediums attempting to free earth bound spirits when something goes wrong. One of the mediums at the is Elizabeth, the speaker.

What needs your attention: I found no technical problems or anything else that needs your attention.

What part I liked best: I like the similes in this story because they are fresh and descriptive. I especially like this simile, melt, like caramelized sugar. I like Elizabeth because she is an intriguing and sympathetic character. I also like the title because it suggests a theme without giving the plot away.

Overall impression: The descriptions are part of the action and move the plot forward at a good pace. The interaction among the characters builds the suspense. I enjoyed reading this exciting story because the action kept me focused on the plot. The twist at the end was a surprise, but not a disappointment because it fit the plot of the story. I am giving this well written and chilling story a 5.0. Write on.
