Title: Barnaby, son of the traitor (01)

First Impression: The first paragraph hooked me with the Barnaby stood in front of the high desk. Barnaby is at the high desk to determine if he will be allowed to graduate with the rest of his class.

What needs your attention: I found no technical problems or anything else that needs your attention.

What part I liked best: I like Barnaby because he is an intriguing and sympathetic character who is capable of thinking on his feed. I also like Barnaby's response when he made the slip about being king. I like Mr. Gills because he was intriguing without being sympathetic.

Overall impression: The descriptions are part of the action and move the plot forward at a good pace. The interaction among to two characters builds the suspense while revealing their personalities. The climax to this section arouses the reader's curiosity about the novel and what will happen next. I enjoyed reading this chapter because of Barnaby who responded to Mr. Grills without hesitation. This response suggest Barnaby was telling the truth. I am looking forward to reading more about Barnaby. Write on.
