 | Harmony's Discord Part Three  [18+] Dark emotions, one man to love, another who discovers something hidden in his psyche.  |
| (5.0)| Review brought to you by: "Game of Thrones" by Gaby ~ Quiet contemplation  OVERALL IMPRESSION - This is one intense chapter. I had a feeling John had eyes on Harmony the entire time. I even suspected he did in the bar as well. Another big shocker as the chapter winds down leaving the reader hanging. Again! Must read on. PLOT~ Harmony and John return from a rough quickie. They eat dinner mostly quiet and then John heads off to make a call. Walker and Harmony play around. Walker asks her to leave John, afraid he will seriously hurt her if she doesn't. John's business call it all a setup, as he has cameras watching everything that happened between his wife and friend. John pulls a gun and all hell breaks loose. CHARACTER(S)~DESCRIPTION~ John totally loses his cool as he presents the evidence that Walker and Harmony are cheating. He is cool when he pulls the gun at first, but Harmony is able to reach through the wall around him. I cannot decide if this is just another ploy that John finally shows some kind of emotion other than cruelty and that massive ego of his. Walker is still determined to get Harmony out of there. Harmony is willing to sacrifice herself if that means Walker walks out of there, but even if he does, I doubt John would let him live for long. The descriptions of the action that took place was great, pulling me right into the fray of what was happening. DIALOG~ Even though Harmony is abused, she is smart and is able to tap into John well. No idea how she manages that with her husband tearing her down at every turn. Every time John speaks it's like another way to knock Harmony down more.
